JAZZ HAPPY HOUR - DÓH tríó

Reykjavík Jazz and Center Hotels invite you to a happy hour at Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar.

DÓH trio was founded in 2013. The members have played together for many years in different projects and joined together in DÓH trio to explore the guitar, saxophone and drums combination. Their first concert was at Reykjavík Jazzfestival 2013 and the trio has played in many different settings since. Their debut album was released in 2018 with a release concert at the Reykjavík Jazzfestival that same year. The following year the album was nominated as jazzalbum of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards and the group was also nominated as performers of the year at the same awards.

Their music is an exploration of many different genres and is threaded together by improvisation and the joy of making music together.

The band will release their sophomore album this year.
